Graduated from Shanghai Tongji University in 1988 with a major in City Planning. After graduation, I joined the Ninth Design & Research Institute of China Shipping Corporation. Under this tenure, I won a few of bid and design competition awards, and in 1992 with the Shanghai Chanyuan District planning and the thesis of "Creating a unique living environment" won Gold Award in the first Shanghai Youth Science and Technology Expo, also won the title of Shanghai's scientific and technological elite.

Immigrated to Singapore in 1994, the first three years in Singapore, I was engaged in Housing Development Board (HDB) and P&T Architects as design Architect.

By the end of 1996, I shifted my career from design to construction, has worked in a number of international main contractors, involved in the construction of large-scale projects, including construction of  "The Linear Condominium" designed by the renowned Japanese Architect “Kenzo Tange Associates”, in addition to in charge of the technical department, I was also actively involved in the construction planning and quality control of the construction site to ensure the timely and high quality of the project. Several projects have been awarded the Construction Excellence Award by the Singapore Building  Construction Authority (BCA), the equivalent to the "Ruban Award" for Chinese architecture.

I set up own consultancy company "Leon Consultancy Pte Ltd “ in Singapore to maximal my career in design and construction field，to  share my experiences and contribute my knowledge to the  society.

I have hobbies, like reading, speech, singing, dancing etc.
